Why pure computation won't work

Address space: an Ethereum address has 40 hex characters. With only the first and last few known, there are still astronomically many possible combinations — far too many to brute force.

Transaction history: whether an address has ever been used is stored on-chain. It can't be computed or derived from the address itself — it has to be looked up.

This tool's approach: it searches indexed explorer databases and a curated list of ~100 known addresses (exchanges, DeFi protocols, bridges, popular wallets), then verifies each candidate against the selected network.

Examples to try:

  • d8da...6045 → vitalik.eth
  • 28c6...d60 → Binance hot wallet
  • 7a25...88d → Uniswap V2 Router
